Agreed. Mirror's Edge has the potential to be something really different and original, so I hope they don't end up turning it into a standard action game.

The Playstation 2 controllers had R2 and L2 'buttons' instead of concave triggers. A lot of people hate the PS3 controller's R2 and L2 triggers. Their fingers slip off.

I liked the cutscenes and the wacky humor. My problem with MGS4 is the textures. They're not good. The jungle section of South America looks terrible. Why does a game as big and important as MGS4 have Haze-like textures? Its unforgivable.

I've seen different Fable 2 gameplay and it looks nothing like this. I think this is some kind of hoax. I think this is a Wii game that someone is trying to pass off as fable 2 as a joke. Fable 2 can't possibly look this bad.
I know Capcom is a Japanese company, but they should have known that a game about a white guy killing a bunch of black zombies wouldn't fly in America. What were they thinking? Come to think of it, why do so many Japanese games have white characters? Just to appeal to the American and European markets? Where are all the Japanese games with Japanese characters?
It all depends on whether or not the Wii is a fad. I still think that the Wii is a fad, but I've been saying that since it was released, and it still keeps selling like crazy. When will the Wii fad end? I don't know.

The truth is, I think its a great game. I really like it, especially the cutscenes. I've just too many games get too much hype over the past year, so I'm sensitive to hype. MGS4 is an awesome game.
The combat is simply not up there with top shelf shooters, lets get serious. Plus, the CQC is insanely complicated and difficult. Besides, when I try to play it as a shooter, the PMCs will just call in a seemingly infinite supply of back-up dudes. Gears had better graphics than Resistance, yes, but Resistance was more fun, a lot more fun. Stop and pop gameplay gets boring very quickly. Who wants to hide behind cover, wait for the enemy's head to pop out, take a couple of shots, get behind cover again and repeat. Most of gears' gameplay is waiting.
